Job Description Reporting to Manager, IT Client Services, the Technical Analyst is accountable for supporting our internal IT clients, and responsible for identifying, researching, resolving IT incidents, and fulfilling Service Requests for our companys employees. This position is based in the Richmond, BC office, however occasional travel to client sites may be required. Responsibilities Perform basic and moderately complex level 2 troubleshooting and repair activities, typically associated in an end-user environment, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, desk phones and printers. Perform Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities. Display outstanding technical and professional services skills. Meet established customer service satisfaction levels and other operational/customer service metrics as outlined in established guidelines. Understand and follow all documented service operations policies and procedures. Document company processes, procedures, and create/update Knowledge Base Articles as needed. Perform imaging, file transfers, and configuration of new devices. Provide mentorship and coaching to our first level support team. Travel to Bird construction sites to assist with site setups, takedowns, and regular check-up visits. Maintain a working knowledge of desktop technologies and general knowledge of infrastructure technologies. Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., Infrastructure Support, Application Support, etc.) to resolve infrastructure issues or provide project support. Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ITIL best-practice operational processes. Maintain an inventory of installed hardware and software. Other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems 3 years experience working in Information Technology Experience working in a diverse, multi-branch environment. Deep Knowledge of Deskside Technologies Strong problem solving and decision-making skills which promote collaboration, consensus, and innovation Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people Proven commitment to customer service and ITIL best-practice operational processes Service Management focused on exceptional customer service and organization skills Must hold a clean and valid driving license, willing to travel. IT designation preferred. (CIPS, ITIL ,A, CompTIA, MCSA, etc.) Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive and creative Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups Strong written and oral communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail COVID-19 Testing and Vaccination Policy Bird is committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment by sustaining the strong safety culture that our clients and contractors have come to trust.
